Reviews and Feedback

We always love to hear your positive comments after a day in the woods- it’s great to know the children are going home contented, and it further reinforces those magic moments we witness during the day- of children being spontaneously helpful and kind, or when they fully get into the flow of their own imagination, or when they forget any shyness or nerves to play and share with their new companions. I just wanted to share some of the comments you’ve sent:

“T~ had a tremendous day today and simply has not stopped smiling. Thank you”

“E~ had a fantastic day here, wish I’d known of it sooner. Will be sending her in October half term.”

“The children had another amazing time at the ironwood forest school in brighting. I think they’d go there every day if they could!”

“A~ and S~ had a great time today, thank you… They have come home full of excitement, raving about Forest school and wanting to come again tomorrow!”

“T~ and H~ really enjoyed their Forest School. Quote from H~ ‘that was an experience to remember’.  Both want me to book them in again!”

“Just a quickie to say that the girls loved the forest school today. they were buzzing about it  when they got home.”

“The boys had a great time thanks. ! They have been making arrows with sticks since they got home!! “

As reflective practitioners we welcome ALL feedback, including constructive criticism- so please get in touch with me if you had a less than positive experience or have any suggestions for improvements- that way we can continue to develop and provide a high quality service.

We hope to work with you all again in October Half-Term. We’ll be confirming dates shortly. Also let us know if you would be interested in a Saturday club, or if you have older children who may be interested in sessions for 8-12 year olds.

Do pass on our details to your friends and schools and ‘like’ us on Facebook…

Thank you.

Five Pounds Off!

Five Pound Voucher

It has been a fantastic inaugural summer season for Ironwood Forest School, with lots of good feedback from parents, grandparents and children. If your child has already participated in a session, we hope they came home buzzing with excitement as so many reports have claimed.

Rachel and I have really enjoyed working with your children in such an inspiring setting. Each child has brought different energy and ideas, and we have worked to incorporate their natural creativity, curiosity and sense of fun. Each session has been developed and enhanced by the previous session, enabling each one to be even better than the last.

To celebrate all this success we are offering a price reduction for the end of the summer. If you have been unable to attend for some reason, this could be your chance to get involved; or if your children have already experienced a session and have been begging for more, this is an opportunity to give them one last treat (and yourself a few hours of peace to catch up with your own errands!)

We are offering each child a £5 voucher, making the sessions £25 instead of £30. The dates this offer is available for are Tuesday 19th August and Thursday 28th August.

Please contact us soon if you are interested.

Road closure outside Netherfield

A section of the B2096 between Darwell and Netherfield is shut, and will be for the next few weeks. This may affect your journey if you are coming from the Battle/Netherfield direction.

The back lane from Brightling/Robertsbridge remains open, and if you are approaching on the main road (the B2096) from Heathfield/Woods Corner direction, you should still be able to reach the junction you need to reach our site.

Please check before you begin your journey and allow an extra 5 minutes if in doubt!

Thank you.
